Here is the thing: franchising is important to the livelihood of our game play. IF you check in on your city once per day, look to see if your neighbors who have franchises in your city stocked their storefront. If they have, you will see the little energy logo over their franchise, then that means they are fully stocked. Click on the storefront so they can Re-stock their franchise daily. The more you do it, the more you earn from that business as well. Everyone wins.
If you do not check in on your city daily, then no worries, not everyone has the time to do so, but do remember to check for it, when you do finally log into your city. Everyone loses out if you do not. You are only allowed 20 franchises in your city, so choose wisely when you get to your last 10. You want ones that earn you the most coins. Preferably top ten businesses.
If you have neighbors that never stock their franchise (s), then it is time to let them go if you need the room. If everyone stocks & re-stocks their franchises daily, the amount you earn goes up tremendously. You want your franchise to have 5 stars to get maximum returns. You do not have to stock franchises that come to your city unless you feel the bonus coins are worth it. As long as the owner stocks it daily and you are accepting it, everybody wins…
